FOR STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY...
* LOCATION...Mountains and foothills below 6,000 feet, the inland
valleys, and most of Orange County.
* WINDS...Areas of northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 45-50
mph...diminishing this afternoon. Isolated gusts to 55 mph are
possible in the early afternoon.
* HUMIDITY...Around 10 percent through this afternoon.
* OUTLOOK...Weaker and less widespread winds Wednesday and
Thursday with a gradual recovery in humidity.
* IMPACTS...Fuels will continue to dry today, increasing the
fire threat. Outdoor burning should be avoided.
